Botanyx is very proud to partner with JUST ONE Tree a UK non-profit organisation set up by one brave young mother whose mission and vision is to remove CO2 from the atmosphere through global reforestation.

Planting trees is the way forward to tackle the climate crisis and improve the lives and quality of people and communities suffering from extreme poverty, reduction in crop yields and water depletion due to the issues of climate change. Planting trees help these communities to earn income and lead self-sufficient lives.

Trees are the lungs of the earth by filtering air, removing carbon dioxide, other pollutants and replacing oxygen back into the atmosphere which helps in slowing down global warming.

Trees also absorb water through their roots which prevents flooding. The roots also bind the soil particles together to prevent erosion.

Trees help to control temperature by absorbing and filtering the suns energy and heat, while stopping the earth from overheating. They are also a home to the millions of plants, fungi and living creatures who form micro habitats within the trees structures so preserving biodiversity.

JUST ONE Tree supports reforestation projects in nine countries across four continents.

As well as their reforestation programmes they support the Climate Foundation, an independent non-profit NGO organisation whose mission is to stop global warming and protect the biodiversity of oceans where marine life and coral reefs are dying, due to  a rise in sea temperature causing ocean acidification.

For every Botanyx product sold we pledge to plant at least one tree, and a percentage of the donation will support the Climate Foundation to protect oceans and marine life from destruction.
